Autumn Bucket List

I was delighted when Jo at https://www.arosetintedworld.co.uk/invited me to share my Autumn bucket list.

It doesn’t seem long since we were on holiday and enjoying the lovely Summer, where does the time go?  Now, the leaves are changing colour and it has definitely started to feel autumnal, yet some days can still be quite hot.

I’m a Spring and Summer lover, I always feel a little sad at the end of Summer, but I don’t mind the Autumn when the days aren’t wet and I can go for a stroll and see the striking colours of the remaining leaves, on the trees.

So what is on my Autumn Bucket list this year?

1.Enjoying the last hot days before Winter sets in

I love to go out with my daughter and enjoy the warm Autumn sunshine, there still are some surprisingly hot days. Spending them out in the fresh air at a park or walking the dog is a great way to get some exercise and Sun on the skin.

2.Collecting Conkers

We have lots of conker trees near our house. Every year we collect loads of them. I heard that they are supposed to keep spiders at bay, so I’ll be putting some around the house too. In fact, I think I have a few left from last year under the bed!

3. Cosy Film Nights

It’s getting darker in the evenings and it’s nice to be able to cosy up on the sofa with a takeaway, glass of wine and watch a nice film of an evening.

4. Go To The Fair

The area where we live has a few fun fairs at this time of the year which we often visit.

5. Go To The Cinema More Often

When the cold wet weather kicks in, we’ll be going to the cinema a lot more, we make it a day out and go for lunch too. There’s a lot of good films coming out this Autumn.

6. Start Looking To Book Next Years Holiday

I like to have something to look forward to and it’s a great time to start thinking about where we are going to go for our holiday next year.

7. Work On My Blog

Yes, I want to work hard on my blog and also help others with their blogs in my group. Blogging doesn’t seem like work to me. I love being self-employed and able to work from home. Eventually, I aim to do this full time.

There are a couple of people who also have Autumn activities to share with you, so do head over to
