If you are able to offer perks like this and if you are able to offer very good communication throughout then this is a great way for you to really stay on top of everything and it is also a good way for you to appeal to new employees.

Think about offering extra holiday time and even staff discounts. You can even work with your employees to find out what they want as well, and this is great when you are hiring new people. Now you may be thinking what all of this has to do with hiring someone new, and the answer is very simple. When you hire a new employee, you want them to feel as though they have made the right decision by choosing your company. You also don’t want to lose out on an employee to a competitor either, but perks can be an excellent way for you to prevent all of this.

A lot of companies host their interviews in tiers, so if you like an employee then progress them to the second stage of the interview. You may have three stages in total, with the last stage narrowing down the list to two or even three potential candidates. You have to take note however that the more interviews you have, the better you will get to know your employees but also the more frustrated they will become at having to come out to your location.

A good rule of thumb is to never have more than three stages for the interview process because this is going to take up your time and theirs, and you may even find that it puts your company in a bad light.
