Boxing Workout
Boxing, at first glance, can seem relatively intimidating. But not to worry. Your first session won’t see you thrown into a ring. In fact, you won’t be expected to take any punches for a fair amount of time! When you attend a club, your coach’s main focus will be on increasing your stamina, strength, and general level of fitness. You will then practice on pads and bags before you progress any further.

Rock Climbing
Now, you may not have ever considered rock climbing before, but it offers a full-body workout that proves truly addictive once you get a taste for it.
One of the simplest and most practical ways to get into rock climbing is to participate in indoor climbing. While your first visit may be a little intimidating, it will also prove extremely exciting. What’s more? You’ll be set up with all of the safety equipment and supervision that you could possibly need, so you needn’t worry about falling from a height or getting hurt.
A tutor will be able to guide you step by step through all of the basic moves. It won’t be long until you have the essential skills to climb unsupervised. This is when you can start travelling further afield and climbing outdoors too!
Trampolining
Sure, you may associate backyard trampolines with kids. But they can be a valuable exercise tool for adults too! Trampolining comes hand in hand with a whole host of health benefits and provides a great workout at home.
First off, trampolining is a low impact form of cardiovascular fitness. You can gain a similar workout to running or jogging without having to worry so much about the impact that the exercise will have on your joints.
It also greatly improves your balance and coordination as you get used to how landing at different angles changes your projection and direction. You might be a little wobbly with your first few jumps, but you’ll soon grow used to it. Down the line, you can even start incorporating a few different jumps, flips, and rolls.
If you can’t afford a full-sized trampoline, a small rebounder can be used indoors!
Go For a Walk or Run
Walking and running are both free to do, all you need is the great outdoors. Monitor your steps and fitness with a fitness tracker such as a Fitbit, it also monitors your sleep so you can understand your sleep quality.
Sure, the gym may be easy and accessible, but you can always incorporate a little more fun into getting in shape. Getting outside has many health benefits too, fresh air, vitamin D from the sun and it puts you in a good frame of mind.
