Shapeshifter Yoga Review
I’ve been practising yoga exercises for years and often workout at home. I’m always on the lookout for new yoga workouts to try. I’ve recently started to practice Shapeshifter Yoga* by Kris Fondran.

How Long Are The Shapeshifter Workouts?
The Shapeshifter Yoga Program workout lasts approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes. The yoga exercises need to be completed at least 3 times a week for 4-6 weeks before moving onto the Shapeshifter Flow so that you master the poses.
The Shapeshifter Flow* is just over 7 minutes long and although it is a short flow, it needs to be repeated for 5-10 reps. The video shows 3 reps, so you have to either memorise this or run the video a few times.
After that, you can use either program or link them together. The flow is great for when you are short of time and want a quick and thorough workout at home.
What I Like About The Program
The body is thoroughly warmed up in the hour-long video with attention to toes, ankles, knees, hips, your hands and neck.
There is plenty of stretching of the quads which is one thing I find lacking in some workouts. The arms feel thoroughly worked too and there is a lot of attention to the back to keep the spine healthy.
What I didn’t Like About The Program
The only thing that disappointed me was the length of the Shapeshifter Flow, I was expecting the video to last through the required number of repetitions and at first, it was annoying having to go back to the start of the video. However, saying that it is very easy to memorise and soon the flow became second nature.
Is Shapeshifter Yoga Worth Buying?
In my opinion, yes it is worth buying, there’s a lot of content in the program plus extras that I wasn’t expecting. It’s an excellent yoga program that works the whole body.
Repeating the Flow sequence builds heat in the body and burns calories. Kris explains how she was hooked up to a device to measure caloric expenditure. After performing a flow sequence of yoga postures, during 10 minutes she burned 7 calories per minute which adds up to 420 an hour which is the same as she’d burn by jogging.
